Hardware Pre Sales Engineer (PSCG)

Job Description. Job Title: Hardware Pre Sales Engineer (PSCG). Job Location: Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. Responsibilities: • Understand the Personal Computing Solutions Group portfolio very well • Work closely with the Sales team to understand client requirements and provide appropriate product configurations, solution recommendations and presales support. • Business Development for the BU products and solutions. • Assist the sales team in positioning the right products to the clients. • Manage Manufacturer Partnership Status and relationships by ensuring all presales training is done within the indicated timelines. • Build strong Relationship with vendors to provide the best cost and quotations. • Ensure the Back Office team have full support for BU’s RFPs and tenders. • Contact the distributors to negotiate prices of products, update stocks and provide them to the sales teams. • Ensure all the technical compliance for Tenders and RFP is done correctly and on time. • Ensure deal registrations are done on time to secure future business in terms of price protection. • Training, Development and Certification • Ownership of partner portals for hardware business. • Strong communication and organizing skills. • Ensure all client orders are inspected and delivered to the client. • Supervise, assist and support with installation and inspection of hardware equipment. • Explore new solutions we can position to the clients and business Unit.
