Cooperative Bank of Tanzania Bank Tanzania Ustawikwa Wote Position Manager-Bancassurance and Principal Officer KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Develop and implement bancassurance strategies to grow insurance business and revenue. • Manage relationships with insurance companies and other strategic partners. • Drive the distribution and cross-selling of insurance products through the Bank's branches and digital channels. • Identify new business opportunities and develop innovative insurance solutions for customers. • Monitor sales performance, profitability, and achievement of bancassurance targets. • Lead, coach, and develop teams responsible for bancassurance sales and service delivery. • Ensure compliance with insurance regulations, banking policies, and applicable regulatory requirements. • Monitor customer experience, resolve escalated issues, and promote customer retention. • Prepare periodic reports on business performance, market trends, and growth opportunities. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE • Bachelor's Degree in Insurance, Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or a related field. • Relevant experience in bancassurance, insurance business development, or financial services management. • Strong knowledge of insurance products, distribution channels, and regulatory requirements. • Proven track record in business development, partnership management, and revenue growth. • Proven ability to acquire customers and achieve lending and business targets. • Strong leadership, negotiation, analytical, and relationship management skills. • Relevant professional insurance qualifications will be an added advantage.
